“Hey… could anyone please tell me which phone does Blair use in Gossip Girls season 2 episode 17? Thanks!”

Pertanyaan ini benar-benar terlontar di sebuah forum serial Gossip Girl. Gue sendiri tiap habis selesai nonton Gossip Girls, selain  keracunan dengan gaya “You know you love me, xoxo, Gossip Girls” atau tergila-gila dengan gaya super cool-nya Chuck Bass, si antagonis, gue juga jadi sangat penasaran dengan smartphones yang digunakan dan pengen juga ikut-ikutan belagak kirim email gossip a la Gossip Girls series. I guess, I got carried away easily, just like million other fans of Gossip Girls haha.

Anyway… I just found a stylish smartphone that could fit in with my high Gossip Girls standard (at least mirip sama punya Blair). It’s the Acer Tempo M900!

Huh? Acer? Bukankah itu merk laptop? Yap yap… exactly! I’ve been using Acer Timeline for quite sometime now dan gue rasa gue sangat puas karena produknya bisa diandalkan. Sewaktu Acer akhirnya meluncurkan 4 smartphones di Indonesia (M900, F900, X960, DX900), I’m excited to know that I got invited to have a dinner at Hotel Mulia with Acer executives and partners to really get to know the new Acer Mobile Phones.

Ngapain ya Acer jualan smartphone sekarang? Pak Kama Kahar, direktur Business Development and Strategic Partnerships, Smart Handheld Business Group-nya Acer bilang: setelah mengakuisisi ETEN, Acer pengen ngasih mobile solutions secara keseluruhan dalam produk-produknya mulai dari netbook hingga smartphones. Kalo misalnya dibutuhkan, after sales service-nya bisa dilakukan di seluruh existing Acer outlets. Jadi nggak perlu takut juga kalo hape-nya kenapa-napa.

Kalo gue demen M900 dengan sliding keyboard dan fingerprint sensor-nya, maka my hubby like the F900, looking good with the wide touch screen area. They’re all using Windows Mobile 6.1! Spesial untuk pasar Indonesia, di Acer smartphone sudah terpasang aplikasi IDX mobile yang memungkinkan kita memonitor stock market. Hehe I know who’s gonna like this already, young brokers now have more time to hang out :D

Malem itu beberapa smartphones Acer yang belum rilis juga diperlihatkan. Istilahnya product leak. Asyik juga ngeliat produk-produk yang belum diluncurkan. Jadi sembari makan sushi, kita asyik utak atik hape. More info tentang spec smartphones ini bisa dibaca di artikel-nya Mas Budi Putra (yang juga hadir malam itu).

Sambil makan, Pak Kama yang ramah cerita kalo istrinya juga seorang blogger. “I’m not blogging but I told my wife what to blog!” Hehehe gue bilang sama Pak Kama, itu namanya ghost-blogging :p

Then suddenly, I almost drop the M900 off my hand when Mr. Kama said, “Once, I met this artist from Sinetron Istri untuk Suamiku…, who’s her name again… do you know her?” *Jaw-dropped-shook-head* I managed to let out a polite smile, how in the world Pak Kama knows about that sinetron. I guess all Indonesian in productive age like me knows why it sounds weird. Tapi gue bangga kok, sinetron Indonesia laris di Singapore dan Malaysia, ditonton pula sama direktur Acer, gue harus lebih cinta lagi dengan sinetron dalam negri! :D Nggak lama Pak Kama meralat, “Actually, I like watching sport…!” Hihihi telat pak, dah terlanjur ketauan! :p
