In addition to making women taller, and therefore according to Jane Austin, having the advantage of height is more striking, high heels force the wearer's back to arch, pushing the bosom forward and tucking the buttocks up tighter. By forcing the wearer to stand more upright to maintain balance, the female form is shown off to its best advantage. Fashion historian Caroline Cox says,"Men like an exaggerated female figure," and heels certainly help with that exaggeration.

I LOVE shoes, but not just any shoes. I love beautifully designed works of art, whether they have heels or not. The shoes needs to be balanced, supportive, and above all comfortable. I have found so many that fit the criteria. I do not have anywhere near the 2,700 pairs of shoes that Imelda Marcos left behind in Malacanang Palace, but rather keep an elite collection of fewer than a dozen pairs at a time, wearing them frequently and caring for them until they are no longer in fashion, or their finish can no longer be rejuvenated.

I have shoes with no heels, low heels, squared heels, stillettos, and they are all fashioned from high quality leather, adorned with unusual stitching or unique detailing. I always get compliments on my shoes, from men and women alike.

Carefully chosen the high heel is not JUST A SHOE, but the icing on the cake, the wrapping on the gift, the diamond in the ring, the creamy dark chocolate ganache in the truffle!! I agree that shoes are not just about style -- they are about inspiration, enjoyment, passion, flair, fun, and of course, as always, they are about sensuality and sexuality!

Oh and Hans... get a movie called Kinky Boots! You will love it, and perhaps decide high heels are worth searching ones soul to find!

Hi there! I have absolutely nothing with high heels, saya seorang pria :) Besides that, my shoe size is a good, healthy 47! So my special relationship would be... ehmm... being able to FIND shoes at all that fit, hehe.
